Meet at Global Wildlife at 9:20am. (26389 Hwy. 40 Folsom, LA)

The cost is $15/adult; $7/student.

Optional: Feed cup (to feed animals) - $2.

Also, we will picnic together on the grounds afterward, so bring a picnic lunch.

Christmas Ornament Painting - November 7th

Get ready for painting fun! Ready or not, Christmas is right around the corner! We'll be painting ornaments on Friday, November 7th, at the home of Tina Tanner (43447 Tanner Rd., Gonzales, LA 70737). 1:00-3:00. The ornaments are $8 each. Please bring a snack to share.

Port Husdon State Historic Site

We had beautiful weather and a great turn-out for our trip to Port Hudson State Historic Site on October 17th. We learned about various aspects of Civil War life as we observed and participated in nine different demonstrations, such as Civil War medicine, Town Ball (similar to baseball), cooking, and artillery. Afterward, we had a picnic and fellowship by the pond.
